Title I is a federal entitlement grant that ensures that all children have a fair, equal, and significant opportunity to obtain a high-quality education and reach, at a minimum, proficiency on challenging state academic achievement standards and state academic assessments.
Nine Title I teachers work both with classroom teachers and in small groups with at risk students on reading and, in some cases, mathematics. Parents are invited to participate in regular Title I meetings to discuss the program and their child’s progress.
Christine Morassi, the Director of Title I, can be reached at 978-597-8713.
