Welcome to the Guidance Department. The school guidance counselors provide a wide array of services for our students. Each school in the district has a full time guidance counselor.
Elementary Schools
Elementary School Guidance Counselors provide a variety of services to our youngest learners including, but not limited to, teaching social skills to students one on one and in group lessons, monitoring students attendance and progress in the classroom, advocating for them in the school, collaborating with parents to ensure their success and providing individual counseling. Middle School Guidance Counselors do all of this plus work with the elementary and high school staff to facilitate transitioning students to the next level including applications to public, private, and technical schools.M

The services that the High School Guidance Counselors provide cover three broad areas: Academic Counseling, College and Career Counseling and Personal Counseling. The high school has five guidance counselors. For more information, visit the High School Guidance Department web page.
