Special Programs - Jobs for Bay State Graduates, Inc.
Jobs for Bay State Graduates, Inc., a senior elective, is an interactive school-to-career program designed to prepare high school students for their futures by providing them with career exploration and 21st Century employability skills training. In this career-oriented curriculum, students participate in the classroom and through job shadowing and community involvement. Throughout the year, students participate in learning activities that develop their skills in leadership and team building. Students reflect on how these experiences impact their individual growth.
In our 28 years, we have helped nearly 30,000 students move on to lead productive, self-sufficient lives. These graduates have moved directly into the work force, pursued higher education, military careers and remained employed through some of Massachusetts’ toughest economic times.
